Target of this antibody:
Alternative names of antibody target:
Serine/threonine kinase 11, Serine/threonine protein kinase 11, Renal carcinoma antigen NY-REN-19, polarization-related protein LKB1
LKB1 is a tumor suppressor that belongs to the serine/threonine kinase family. Mutation in LKB1 is link to Peutz Jeghers syndrome (PJS), a disorder characterized by the growth of polyps in the gastrointestinal tract. LKB1 regulate AMPK signaling pathway and may also play a role in chromatin remodeling, cell cycle arrest and cell polarity
Clonality of antibody:
This antibody reacts with:
Human, mouse, rat
Synthetic peptide surroundign amino acid 294 of mouse LKB1
Concentration of antibody:
Form of antibody:
Formulation of this antibody:
100 µg (0.5 mg/ml) affinity purified rabbit anti-LKB1 polyclonal antibody in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 30% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, 0.01% thimerosal
This antibody has been succesfully tested for use in following methods:
The antibody can be used for Western blotting (0.5–4 µg/ml).
Shelf time: 12 months in temp.: -20 deg.C
How to handle this antibody:
The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
If you buy Antibodies supplied by Biovision they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
