Target of this antibody:
Alternative names of antibody target:
SDF-1b, SDF 1b, SDF 1beta, SDF 1 beta, SDF -1, SDF, Stromal cell-derived factor 1;DF-1; C-X-C motif chemokine 12; Pre-B cell growth-stimulating factor; PBSF;SDF-1-beta
Stromal cell-derived factor-1 beta is a stromal derived CXC chemokine that belong to the intercrine family, members of which activate leukocytes and are often induced by proinflammatory stimuli such as lipopolysaccharide, TNF, or IL-1. SDF-1β signals throμgh CXCR4 receptor.
Clonality of antibody:
This antibody reacts with:
Recombinant human SDF-1β
Concentration of antibody:
Form of antibody:
Formulation of this antibody:
30 µg (0.5 mg/ml) affinity purified rabbit anti-human SDF-1β polyclonal antibody in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 30% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.01% thimerosal.
This antibody has been succesfully tested for use in following methods:
Western blot analysis (0.5-4 µg/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. Recombinant human SDF-1β (Cat.# 4390-10) can be used as a positive control.
Shelf time: 12 months in temp.: -20 deg.C
How to handle this antibody:
The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
If you buy Antibodies supplied by Biovision they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
