Description
Lonidamine is a derivative of indazole-3-carboxylic acid that inhibits glycolysis by the inactivation of hexokinase, an enzyme that catalyzes glucose as the first step in glycolysis. Also blocks CFTR Cl- channels in vitro. Acts as an anticancer and antispermatogenic agent in vitro and in vivo.
