Description
Ivabradine hydrochloride is a highly selective open channel blocker that targets the mixed Na⁺/K⁺ inward “funny current” (If) carried by hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide gated (HCN) channels. It has antianginal activity. It lowers heart rate and reduces myocardial oxygen demand.
