Signaling lymphocytic activation molecule (SLAM/CD150) is expressed at hematopoietic tissue, such as memory T-cells, as well as at immature thymocytes. It has high-affinity self-ligand ability and plays an important role in interaction of T and B cells.
Clonality of antibody:
This antibody reacts with:
Amino acids corresponding to 138-153 of human SLAM
Concentration of antibody:
Form of antibody:
Formulation of this antibody:
200 mg (0.5 mg/ml) purified rabbit polyclonal antibody in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 30% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.01% thimerosal.
This antibody has been succesfully tested for use in following methods:
Western blotting (3-6 mg/ml). However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually.
Shelf time: 12 months in temp.: -20 deg.C
How to handle this antibody:
The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
If you buy Antibodies supplied by Biovision they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
