Murine GM-CSF (Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor) is a potent species-specific stimulator of bone marrow cells. GM-CSF stimulates precursor cells of granulocytes, macrophages and eosinophils. Murine GM-CSF is a 14.0 kDa protein containing 124 amino acid residues.

This antibody has been succesfully tested for use in following methods:
Western blot, Neutralization
Western blot analysis (0.5-4 µg/ml). Recombinant murine GM-CSF (Cat.# 4101-10) can be used as a positive control. Based on researchers feedback, the antibody also works well in ELISA (2-3 µg/ml) and neutralization (5-10 µg/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually.

The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), also known as colony stimulating factor 2 (CSF2), is a monomeric glycoprotein secreted by macrophages, T cells, mast cells, NK cells, endothelial cells and fibroblasts that functions as a cytokine. The pharmaceutical analogs of naturally occurring GM-CSF are called sargramostim and molgramostim. Reconstitution It is recommended that sterile ddH2O containing at least 0.1% human serum albumin or bovine serum albumin be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of not less than 1 mg/mL of the cytokine.
